This recipe is courtesy of Tina, a dear friend of my Aunt Vera's who was so kind to our family while we were grieving out Aunt's death.
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons margarine
1 large bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 10.5 oz. bag miniature marshmallows
2 cups unsalted peanuts
Line a 9 x 13 pan with waxed paper. Using a double boiler; combine sweetened condensed milk and margarine. Stir constantly until margarine is melted. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. In a separate large bowl mix together nuts and marshmallows, add the chocolate mixture from the stove and mix well. Pour mixture into pan. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Remove the rocky road from the pan. Remove waxed paper and slice into squares or bars.
