Pineapple Angel Food Cupcakes

Initially made this as a cake, but it is much better made as cupcakes!

1 can crushed pineapple, do not drain (20 ounce size)
1 box Betty Crocker White Angel Food Cake Mix

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place crushed pineapple and cake mix in stand mixer.  Mix on medium for 90 seconds with the whip attachment.  Spoon mixture into greased muffin tins.  Bake for 15-18 minutes, until deep golden brown.  Cool n pan for 5 minutes before tipping out.  Serve with cherry pie filling on top for an extra yummy treat.
